Biography
A graduate of St Anselm College, Manchester, N.H. Dr. Cilento attended the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and then began a period of service in the U.S. Navy. As a Medical Officer, he completed his internship at the Naval Hospital, Newport, R.I. and a residency in Pediatrics at the Naval Hospital, Chelsea, MA. He was then stationed at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL. After leaving the service in 1967, he started a Pediatric practice in Scituate, MA. He continues in that practice today.
South Shore Hospital, South Weymouth is his primary hospital. At that hospital he has served as Chief of Pediatrics and is Past President of the Medical Staff. Currently, he is a member of the Active Staff. He is also closely affiliated with New England Medical Center/Boston Floating Hospital and Childrens' Hospital Boston.
Dr. Cilento is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Mass. Chapter of the AAP, The New England Pediatric Society, The Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Medical Society.
